What is this Blog about

I like old things. Catechisms, Questions of Faith with Answers that follow, are something I have discovered lately. There are a ton of Catechisms, but two really stand out to me. The Westminster Catechisms and the Heidelberg Catechisms. The title of my blog is the first Catechism from the Westminster Catechism. I heard Louie Giglio Talk about it a few years ago.

Q: What is the Chief end of Man?
A: Man's Chief end is to Gorify God, and to enjoy Him forever.

John Piper says something about God's Glory and our enjoyment. He says that "God is most Glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." If we are waking up daily with the intent to be satisfied with God, we will Glorify God and He will be satisfied with us! Who would not want to satisfy God! What a privilege we have to worship and Glorify our Savior, Father, and Maker.

Good things come from old things. Not all new ways of thinking, and "cool" ways of reaching people are good. Sometimes we have to look back, embrace our history and cling to the word. People don't always want something that is culturally relevant, they want truth and a firm foundation in their faith.
